Never one to turn down a challenge, Jim Rumph jumped at the opportunity to let his talents (and imagination) create the images of popular radio characters he remembered from his childhood. Poster was drawn entirely from his memory of the various programs. Original poster has an acetate overlay with colors embedded into various areas of the picture. The microphone in the middle (a classic RCA 44B), became the logo for a Hollywood Recording studio -- The Audio Group -- which primarily produced dramatic radio programs, including "The ANTA Theatre of the Air" (horror stories) and the science-fiction series hosted by "Star Trek's" Walter Koenig called "The Fantasy Project."
