I'm wondering if out there anyone has seen Jim's full sized chastity belt he did in clay. It was a one of a kind piece he really got exited about. There was a picture of it being modeled on a lovely 16 year old girl, whom it took some convincing to wear. She had to have permission from her older sis as I recall.
It was photographed by a professional and hopefully the photo, or real work, will turn up some day. I don’t know who ended up with the piece.
At the time it was a Slime Factory favorite and created a lot of buzz.
The center piece was typical Rumph art/sculpt with a keyhole that had a teeth/claw like opening, so if one tried to put in a finger, it was a one way deal.
He created a real ceramic chain for it that had square interlinking links that fully functioned. It really worked and was one of the coolest things I’d ever seen.

One of my favorite pieces is one that got away.
Jim had given me, to my shock, (one night while lubed up) a Zunill Sphinx he had laying around with a firing crack.
I loved his Zunill works. Even at the time, the Sphinx was one of his most expensive pieces and took a lot of work to create on his part. (I did feel a little guilty.)
Later, Jim asked if he might have it back as he had a paying customer for it, and said he’d make me a new one. (As an artist you’d sell whatever you could; I understood this and had no problem releasing it.) I also knew I’d never get the replacement. Easy come easy go.
