I keep hearing about the Rumph Guide, but have never seen one myself. Are there any available?

So, whats with all the Chewbacca and obi-wan mugs for sale on ebay?  Was there a large cache of these mugs recently discovered in a long forgotten warehouse?  (haha)

Yes, I suppose the release of the recent Star Wars movies may have created a resurgence of interest in Star Wars items...but this is ridiculous.

The Rumph Star Wars mugs are just about my least favorite of all the Rumph mugs. Maybe the sellers with Star Wars mugs feel the same and are using the recent Star Wars mania as an opportunity to dump their least favorite Rumph mugs?

"These aren't the droids youre looking for" ...and apparently these Obi wan and Chewie mugs aren't either.

I don't use facebook, (facebook and google are the top two worst offenders for maintaining personal privacy) so I guess that any Rumph activity on facebook will be unavailable to me. Unfortunate, as I have made several attempts to generate discussion on this website, and although there are hundreds of 'views'...there is virtually zero activity except from the webmaster re-directing people somewhere else, and another forum owner (gumball) inviting people to his website.

I wonder...that if people don't have the interest or energy to post here (except for lack of member participation this IS a pretty sweet Rumph resource!!) ... then how much participation will happen at another website?

Hey all Rumph Fans!  I have created a new Facebook page to accompany TheRumph.com.  This page is meant to be more social and interactive and encourages you to share your Rumph pictures and stories.  I just don't have a lot of time to keep TheRumph.com up-to-date, so this page should help keep the Rumph spirit alive in a more timely fashion.  Please go check it out!

Recently I acquired two pieces and I'm not sure which I love more.

One is an Isaac Asimov tankard without handle. The man never looked better. Rare as all get out.

The other is a likely one off piece. It is a bust copied from the lifemask of the artist William Blake. I've supplied the site here with photos, or you can see it on my site, www.rumphcollector.com

I tried the page that came with the template. Within a day I had over thirty subscribers. They had a lot to talk about. Discount Nike factory seconds, fashion jewelry, Thailand vacations, lonely Russian women, lonely Ukrainian women, lonely Japanese women, lonely Chinese women, lonely Brazilian women, lonely Australian women, boner pills to make all those lonely women happy...

Looks like youve got a nice start there.

What you need now, is a blog area where people can talk about Rumph stuff.

I still fail to understand how there can be so many serious Rumph collectors and none of them have anything to say. Is it this site? Is it the webmaster? Is it something else?  Or do Rumph collectors only like to show off their stuff and the enthusiasm ends there?

Not trying to compete with TheRumph.com, just a site with pictures of items from my collection. Will be a work in progress for a while to come.

Let me know what you all think!
