Added Information:

This was to announce the opening of Jim's store on Santa Monica Blvd. It was just about a block from another stor called "Sidereal Time", visited by George Harrison. Jim had hoped that George would visit "Rumph", but that did not happen. In it are likenesses of Jim and Daryle Ann (This is the correct spelling of her name - I have it in Jim's own handwriting).

From artist Jim Rumph's own personal stash. An exquisite illustration he made as an invite poster to one of his sales of Rumph pottery (and everything in between)! This particular illustration was originally a larger poster. Rumph copied the poster onto this 8.5' x 11" page and saved it as one of his studies in his studio "The Slyme Factory". As such this piece is approximately 40 years old and the paper is browning on the edges giving it that ultimate RUMPH look! Please note that this is an original copy made by Jim Rumph of a larger poster, made to keep as a study for future illustrations he would make. It is not an actual original drawing. It reads "Announcing RUMPH" at the top and then a plethora of Rumph verbiage follows in the exquisite RUMPH handwriting. This RUMPH illustration is the illustration that just keeps on giving. The more you look at it, the more you see!...... from Jim's self portrait on the left side to the small hidden "R"'s .... our favorite is the snake coiling up a woman's body and melting into the background!
