This is, along with my Handmade Tankard, probably the earliest example of his work. It looks like mine with the graininess of the clay, the much more amateurish sculpting, and the script "Rumph." Probably made between 1965 and 1969.

I got this at the first Renaissance Faire in Agoura in the late 60's (I think). Bought it at Rumph's stand at the fair.

No date on the bottom, only the word "Rumph" schratched into the clay with a nail or something similar.
