The two I pieces I contributed are actually marked "B.K. INC. MFG. U.S.A. A.S.I.-63940" on the bottom indicating that they were produced by the Berney Karp company, which we know Rumph worked with. One came with a lid.
I am speculating that Rumph's original design was then produced commercially by Berney Karp in which companies could customize with their own logo.
