White and black bong shaped a satyr that is half ram, half man. The satyr is playing pan pipes. Marked '© 1979 RUMPH "SATYR"' on the bottom. Measures 8" tall, 4" wide, and 3.75" deep.

Hi there, just found the site, and gotta say it's nice to find out something about the man who made my lifelong bong. I bought my baby in NYC in 1980 just before going off to college. I always viewed him as straddling a stylized 'pipe bowl', but others sometimes saw it as him grabbing himself- curious if there's any consensus. Life is a bit different now, but thank you Jim for making it a bit better back then - I'm thinking about old times just looking at it now...

I've got one in perfect condition, except the carburetor is on the back, offset from the spine instead of on the belly as pictured. It is also lacking the original hardware, however the ceramic is unmarred.
