Early Bowl



In the beginning, famous artist Jim Rumph trained himself in the art of pottery by creating beautifully simplistic pieces on his potters wheel. This is one of them made in 1962, very rare early work by Jim Rumph, with piece of a photograph of the artist in the same year. Bowl featuring an exquisite yet simple grey glaze and the Rumph signature "RUMPH '62". Photograph is of Jim Rumph in 1962, with inscription on the back and dated. Piece of photograph is approximately 5" X 1.5".
