Birthday Card



Among his friends and fans, Jim Rumph was known to create his own RUMPH birthday cards. Everyone would anticipate receiving the gift of one of his original card creations for their birthday and these cards became treasured collectables. This birthday card depicts a typically zany character created by Jim Rumph, a darkly humorous "lunatic" in a padded cell writing a card with his foot: "Thinking of You on Your Birthday". The card is blank inside. On the verso is another of Jim's characters, a whacky clown face and the words PHANTASY REALITY MIND CIRCUS.
